Triumph Middle School Claims First Place at Waterway Duals

The Waterway Duals delivered a full day of competitive action as top youth programs squared off in a dual-team format, and Triumph Middle School rose to the top of the podium with a first-place finish.

Competing against strong opposition throughout the event, Triumph showcased depth, composure, and consistency across its lineup. The dual format created high-energy matchups, with momentum shifting from bout to bout, but Triumph maintained control when it mattered most.

Key Performances Lead the Charge

Several athletes played pivotal roles in the team’s championship run. Tom Ross and John Ross each delivered strong performances in their respective weight classes, helping set the tone early in multiple duals. Their ability to secure bonus points and control matches proved critical in tight team situations.

Anthony D’Alessio continued to demonstrate why he’s considered one of the more reliable competitors in the lineup, wrestling with confidence and poise throughout the day.
