Colts Roll Behind Falls and Technical Falls Across the Lineup

Christian Brothers Academy delivered a commanding performance against Southern Regional, earning a 56-9 victory powered by bonus points and depth throughout the lineup.

The dual began at 132 pounds, where Teag Saito set the tone with an 11-0 major decision over Dion Mesanko. Southern answered at 138 as Henry Zimmerman earned a 9-2 decision over Cael Dutton, briefly slowing CBA’s momentum.

From there, the Colts took full control.

Bonus Points Fuel Separation

Robert Duffy ignited a scoring run at 144 with a fall in 1:59 over Attila Vigilante. William Sakoutis followed with a 12-2 major decision at 150, and James Jakub added a 17-2 technical fall at 157 to widen the gap.

Colton Quinn continued the surge at 165 with a fall in 4:32, and Brendan Boyer added another technical fall at 175 (15-0 in 3:26), pushing the dual further out of reach.

Southern found success at 190, where Levi Foote secured a 12-5 decision over Brock Oizerowitz. However, CBA quickly regained momentum.

Van Jones recorded a fall at 215, and Tyler Palumbo added a forfeit victory at 285 to keep the Colts firmly in control.

Lower Weights Seal the Victory

At 106, Santino Edgar secured an 8-3 decision to extend the lead. Shiloh Joyce followed with a dominant 21-5 technical fall at 113.

Southern’s Cade Collins picked up a 4-2 decision at 120, but CBA closed the dual in emphatic fashion. Paul Kenny secured a fall in just 47 seconds at 126, punctuating the 56-9 team victory.

With consistent bonus-point production and strong performances throughout the lineup, Christian Brothers Academy demonstrated why they remain one of the top teams in the state this season.
